Frequently asked questions

What image size does Amazon require?

Amazon recommends at least 1000 px on the longest side for zoom; 2000×2000 px square images are a safe choice. The main image needs a pure white background, which is the default padding in Fit mode.

What sizes do Etsy and Shopify use?

Etsy recommends 2000 px wide listing photos, and 2000×1600 works well for its 5:4 thumbnails. Shopify recommends 2048×2048 px square product images.

Is my photo uploaded to a server?

No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser, using your own device. Your photo is never sent anywhere.

What's the difference between Fit and Crop?

Fit shows the whole product and fills the remaining space with the color you choose. Crop fills the frame completely and trims the overflowing edges; you can drag to set the focal point.

Will resizing a low-resolution photo improve its quality?
